Gamers needing recommendations for router and mesh system

Hi everyone. I was using a deco system that was a few years old , one was being used as a router using the correct details and there was lag at times. Silly me decided to swap back to BT and it's rubbish for the amount of devices I have connected. I currently have the highest package with BT and I know using a cable would be best but is not possible in my house. Can anyone recommend a router and a mesh system that can be abused at times with lots of devices being used and not drop out or cause lag. Willing to pay for a good system that will keep the family quiet 😂.

Re: Gamers needing recommendations for router and mesh system

Nobody can recommend a router that will not drop out or cause lag because it is not the router that causes drop out or lag. It is generally your connection or interference that cause that or to many devices using the connection. Most routers can support between 20 to 50 devices without issue.

You would be better to do an Internet search on routers within your price range and read the reviews for each one and make up your own mind which will suit your individual needs for your house hold.

Alternatively try the new EE wifi 7 router.

Can pick up a brand new one for around £40  on ebay

Will work perfectly on the BT broadband
