I previously had a Billion router. Home Assistant was able to see it and show network stats. I'm trying to do the same with the BT Smart Hub 2. I have UPnP enabled on the router but when I try 'Add Device' in the Home Assistant UPnP integration, it says 'No devices found on the network'. What else do I need to do to get UPnP to work?

Welcome to this user forum for BT Retail phone and broadband customers.
There is no access to network stats on the BT Smart Hub 2, apart from logging into the hub manager advanced settings.
The BT Hub doesn't make anything available over UPnP (I think) - the 'Enable UPnP' option is simply to enable other devices that do use UPnP to wrk properly (e.g. I use it to share photos and videos on my NAS).
UPnP on the home hub, only opens internal ports to the Internet, when initiated by a device on your LAN. It has no function within your network.
Ok thanks all. Looks like another reason to replace the not-so-Smart Hub.
