How do I edit my subnet to match my previous router?

Go to solution

I’ve just swapped my google WiFi router for the smart hub but I’m having some network issues and it seems the easiest thing to do would be to edit my subnet to match my previous router but I’m not sure how/where I do this?

Unless you have given your devices static IP addresses in the old subnet, just stick with the new subnet and let DHCP do its thing. If you must change subnet, go to Advanced network settings in the hub manager.

Unfortunately that is my issue, I assigned static IP’s. Where abouts in advanced settings am I looking? Is it under IPv4 settings? (seems the only place I can edit)

I'm on holiday at the moment so can't poke around in the hub settings and can't remember exactly where it is. However, there are so few settings it won't take you long to check them all out.

My Network

It's an advanced setting so you will need to enter the hubs Admin password, click on the IPv4 Configuration tab when you get to that page
