How to limit Xbox download speed

Hi,

Is there anyway to limit the bandwith / download speed of an xbox on the wifi? The xbox is always on and seemingly always downloading meaning the rest of us have horrific internet while this lad sits with it downloading all day lol. We had a look on the router page and the download for the xbox over the last 24 hours is around 124gb while all other devices combined doesn't reach 10.

We have a BT Smart Hub 2. All are using wireless connections.

You need a third party router with Qos in order to do that. The SH2 doesn't have the facility.

You might be able to use a managed switch like a TP-Link TL-SG105E which does have a QoS feature but that works by the port that the device is connected to though so quite easy to defeat.
