I just had FTTP installed today. I had an outage tonight, about an hour ago, that lasted about 10 minutes.
Two minutes after the outage started, my hybrid connect finally kicked in and got me back online (not quite as fast as I was hoping it would be, but it was something). However, when the internet was restored (the LOS light went off), my router continued to use the EE hybrid connection, rather than reverting back to my FTTP broadband.
In order to get back onto the faster FTTP connection, I was forced to restart my hub.
Is this normal? Does the hybrid connect not automatically switch you back to your standard internet when it's back?
