I have a Hybrid Connect which is positioned upstairs due to poor network signal, so signal to the Smart Hub 2 is less than ideal.
When the Hybrid Connect activates and is connected to the Smart Hub 2 via Ethernet, I’m only able to achieve speeds of 5mbps. However, when I disconnect the Ethernet and the Hybrid Connect is connected to the Smart Hub 2 via Wi-FI, I’m able to achieve the full 30mbps - this is the case when connected directly to the hub with a single Ethernet cable and when connected via a network switch and without moving the Hybrid Connect from it’s usual position.
I have factory reset the Hybrid Connect and Smart Hub 2, and have had a new Hybrid Connect sent out from BT, but the issue persists.
I am competent with networking and technology so have tried everything I can think of to bypass the issue, to no avail. Could an admin please contact me to look into this?
Seeing exactly the same issue, when using the Hybrid connect, with the Hybrid Connect and laptop connected to the same (gigabit) switch the speeds are 3/4 mb. With the laptop connected direct to the Smart Hub 30/5 is possible
Seems like the Hyrbid cConnect can’t share a switch with any other devices, did anyone find a fix?
No fix yet - could one of the admins please contact me or help out here?
