Re: Is it possible to disable remote logins on Smart Hub 2?

Via the Internet IP address.

You guys are giving me the impression that maybe i have a different version of Smart Hub.

How can you tell which version it is? I got it in April of this year.

It's for business, do we get given different Hubs? If so then I still need to find out how to disable the remote acess to the routers web pages.

Re: Is it possible to disable remote logins on Smart Hub 2?

If you remove the WIFI card details thing on the back it says Smart Hub 2 there.

Re: Is it possible to disable remote logins on Smart Hub 2?

I can now see that it states it's a Smart Hub 3. It's in black lettering on a black router, not on the label.

So how do I disable remote acess to that?

Re: Is it possible to disable remote logins on Smart Hub 2?

I only mentioned the SH2 writing because I know that it is there.

The SH3 is a business router I think, I dont know anything about that one, the business forums might help, are you a business customer?

Re: Is it possible to disable remote logins on Smart Hub 2?

It's not ideal but I managed to disable it by setting a port forwarding rule on ports 80 and 443 which forward to an unused internal address and random ports.

In the end I swapped out the BT router for a Drytek Vigor 2862. Works a treat and far more configurable.
