More than 8 discs on premium whole home wifi

Hi All, i currently have 8 premium discs all set up and working great, problem is I reckon I need another 8. 
I suppose I should ask…..are BT likely to be allowing more discs ?

I did come up with an idea, let me know if this will work?

get another 8 discs, and set up a second group covering the other wing of the house, set it up via an app on another device, give it the same SSID? 
any thoughts?

8 discs is a lot for a private home, why do you need 16? Do you live in a very large house, (stately home?), or is it the construction of the building that is the issue?

Are you sure that the original ones are placed optimally?  How far apart from each other are they?

Yes it’s a very large house, with very thick walls.  Placing has been trial and error to some extent, at a guess I would say they are around 12m apart.  Is there an ideal distance? 

Do you have any advice about my proposed solution ?
