Hi,
I'm not sure if this is in the right place, so please advise if I need to move my question elsewhere.
I'm currently in a house with FTTC and use a SH2. On Friday I'm moving to a house with FTTP. I've set up the move with BT and am due to receive their VOIP adaptor and Cat5e cable tomorrow. The point I'm not clear on (even after speaking to one of their tech advisors) is when do I change the setting in the SH2 to FTTP? Should I change it on the day I move before unplug, or will I have some form of internet access at the new house on Friday and change the setting then?
Many thanks

Change it when you move, as FTTP will be your only service anyway.
You can change it at any time. Changing port 4 to a WAN port (FTTP mode) has no effect on the DSL port.
The SH2 will operate with whichever port has the signal.
