New to BT ... slow wifi on hub 2

Hi,

I've just moved from VM to BT full fibre.  Everything is working fine apart from the wifi speed, which is about 1/4 of the speed of my VM connection which is still in operation for the next week or so. 

The same devices show this discrepancy from the same position ie approx 8ft from the respective routers. 

I only have 5g enabled and the Hub 2 is set to smart channel 36, which my analyser app says is poor quality.  The only other channel options are the same. The "check my wifi signal" in the MyBT app says its poor even though I'm only a few feet away and nothing else is using the router.

The broadband/ Internetconnection is fine and checks out at full speed from the BT speed checker and from ethernet connected internal devices. 

The hub furthest is v0.39.01.04077

Please ignore, tried to delete but cannot find option.
Fwiw, problem was caused by tp- link powerline wifi stake with cloned ssid and auto connect
