I’ve connected the cat cable from the wall in to any of the Ethernet ports on the deco of choice ( I could have picked any - they are all identical).
nothing says ‘wan’ port on it- so it got wanged onto port 1.
turn on power
connect to internet
setup device on app. Update firmware.
connect other two devices.
update their firmware
everything connects seamlessly. An absolute doddle.
I’ve checked the speed test on the deco app and ookla
620 mbps down, 105 up. That’s average on each room
In the garden office I’m getting 60 mbps down. I was getting nothing on the SH2.
I don’t have a deco out in the cabin- just one in the kitchen.
can I assume ( that’s dangerous?! 😀) that if I buy another couple of decos - I can place one in the cabin and I’ll get even more?
also I have two networks: the 2 and 5ghz and a 6ghz - I can’t see the latter, is that normal?

oh- I’m not sure if there is a way I can test if it’s properly working and I’m not double knitting or whatever it’s called- but the SH2 isn’t available anymore.
