Since having fibre fitted I have no wifi in some rooms. The engineer who fitted the system said if this was the case BT should supply me with a signal booster for free, but I cannot find out if this is true or how to order it.
I took me 75mins to speak to a person yesterday and I didn't get anywhere. Am I looking for something that does not exist.
It would depend on what broadband package you have. Post the full details of the package you have.
upgrading to full fibre makes no difference to your wifi signal. are you using the same router or did you have to replace it? is the router still in the same location as previous router? if new router did you change the SSID and wifi password to that of previous router so your devices connected automatically?

This is a paid for service, not free , if you don’t want to ‘rent’ ( pay monthly for something you won’t own ) you can purchase similar products yourself.
We have Full Fibre 150.
I think the problem is that they moved the router
The router was moved to a different location but the engineer assured me it would still work everywhere but it doesn't.
My tablet works in some rooms but not when further away from the router, the router is the same one we had previously
The cat 5e ethernet cable between the ONT and the router can be up to 100m long. Is it possible to just move your router back to where it was?

Unless you have the add ons either a Halo package, which I would not recommend or Complete Wifi Plus you will not get free extenders/discs
I realise my big mistake was taking what the installer said at face value.
He put the router where was easiest for him and lied about the performance.
I intend to buy a booster which I can connect to my Ethernet cable and hope that improves things.
I won’t be so gullible next time.
