Re: Raspberry Pi-3

Thanks for the reply and suggestion.

I didn’t realise you could do that .

So that would mean plugging the new SH2 in and changing somewhere and putting my old router ssid and password into the new router ?

So although the rpi wasn’t a recognised device on the SH2  before you think it should still work even so ?

Thanks

Re: Raspberry Pi-3

Yes, if you go to advanced wireless settings in the SH2, you can change the SSID and password the Pi will then connect and show in the device list.

Re: Raspberry Pi-3

Thank you the information.

If my rpi-3 doesn’t appear in the list , will the piaware not work ?

Re: Raspberry Pi-3

Forget the list, just concentrate on whether it works or not.

Re: Raspberry Pi-3

Thank You.

I've got the new SH2 working with my old network name and password and great news my pi-3

running piaware for my FR24 is working and is now showing in the network list on the BT hub.

The seperate issue I have now is when I connect my phone line into the SH2 hub the phone line

doesn't work? I had a recent email from BT saying to set up SH2 as we had been recently moved over

to Digital Voice home service?

Thank you again for helping me set up my piaware rpi-3 and not having to change anything in my pi.

Re: Raspberry Pi-3

Does the hub show your phone number or 'not configured ' If the latter, you haven't been moved to DV yet.

Re: Raspberry Pi-3

The hub says ' not configured' my phone number isn't showing?

I wonder why in that case did I get an email from BT saying what I put in my last message?

Thanks again

Re: Raspberry Pi-3

I've just called BT on 150 and DV becomes active on the 18th August, so I'm not sure why I received that email

from BT.

I greatly appreciate the help everyone has given me re the pi-3 , a big thank you to all
