try going to hub manager then setting and scroll down and make sure the ethernet port 4 is marked as not FTTP as you are on FTTC

Thank you. I can understand the matter of (changing/matching) wifi password, but the network I have (in normal/regular use) is just Ethernet (wired). If I needed to use an extra or different device I just swap a plug over at one one end or the other.

with your move to digital voice a mobile would be good advice for emergency use in a power cut or loss of internet connection

Yes, I do have a simple mobile phone but there is a local signal coverage issue (affecting all networks), so it is unfortunately unreliable. Such is life!
