Replacing Smarthub 2 - Router Compatibility?

I’ve had loads of minor issues with my Smarthub 2 (hit and miss connection to my phone when I try to log into it, random wi-fi dropouts etc) so I’m thinking of swapping it out. I have super fast broadband (box on the wall outside with cable into room into a small box - modem? and then into the Smarthub).

Will the ASUS TUF Gaming AX3000 work if I swap out the Smarthub 2 and leave everything else ‘as is’?

I’ve got the ASUS GS AX3000 ROG gaming router with my BT 900 fibre and it works just fine.
