Ring door bell

Hi I have the ring doorbell 4 duel band and im wanting it connected to 5ghz wifi put it just stays on 2.4 no matter how close i get to the router , has any been able to connect it to 5ghz thanks

you can turn off the 2.4ghz wifi in hub manager then connect the ring to 5ghz but when you re-enable the 2.4ghz wifi the ring may just change as 2.4ghz stronger signal

The obvious question is why does it matter which band it connects to as long as it works. Surely it will select the strongest signal.
