You can set up the new SH2 whenever you want and your internet will work. You may if you have a number of wireless devices change the SH2 SSID to that of your existing hub and also change the wireless password to your existing password and that way when you connect the SH2 to internet then your devices will reconnect to the hub without a problem
You don't need the SH2 connected to the internet to make these changes just powered up
