Have just got Sky Glass but having problems with it. Is BT broadband really adequate to have this system ?

Hi @MrsMariner
There is no difference between the Openreach providers, BT, Sky, TalkTalk etc. they are all the same. What exactly do you mean by “really adequate “? Which speed package do you have, and what is your download can your property achieve on the Openreach network.

This from the small print for Sky Glass “All content on Sky Glass is streamed via broadband, minimum speed of 30Mbps recommended.” That will be per Glass TV or device.
are you connecting to Sky Glass using wifi? if so I would change the wifi channels in the hub from auto to fixed and using a wifi analyser on phone find a channel setting that is free or less congested I would also select another channel not 36 maybe 48
the hub is more than adequate to run Sky Glass but depends on your internet connect stability and speed

If you go to the Sky Help forum you can trawl through the many posts and threads there of customers complaining about Sky Glass, regardless of ISP.
They have a number of tops tips, such as hard wiring rather than using WiFi, or sending it back, then buying literally any other TV and getting on with your life.
