Smart Hub 2's ethernet ports stopped working

They either factory reset it or install the latest firmware if it is going to be reused or they break it up to recover any precious metals and parts.

In case some more thoughts on this are needed.  I also have a years old NAS.  You may need to enable SMB v1 on your PC.  Without this the PC refuses to connect to old NAS devices.  There may still be an issue on the router but this additional info could be relevant.
