How do I find the serial number of the ONT?
I’ve tried everything so I will give them a ring, just need to find out where to find the serial number for the ONT
In that case, it probably an authentication issue, as mentioned before on this thread. I doubt Openreach will be able to fix this.
I assume you have already reported the fault, as you are having a visit from Openreach.
It may be worth giving the FTTP helpdesk on 0800 587 4787 to see if they can detect any data mismatch.
Just been on the phone, they said it’s not an open reach engineer, it’s someone that will be able to have a deep look at things (forgot the name but it began with an A) like it’s one of their specialised engineers I’m assuming.
They also said that there’s no fault with my box and everything looks fine on their end and it has been flagged as an urgent matter. So, just got to wait until the 8th and that’s it really, nothing more I can do unfortunately.
