Wi-Fi extension

Hi. I need an additional extender disc to bring my Wi-Fi into my lounge which is remote from the hub & existing extender disc. I want to plug an existing network cable from this into my Tv connected P C. How can I justify / order an additional disc?. I have home hub 2.

Thank you

Re: Wi-Fi extension

Easy

Get one from Ebay

Literally dozens most brand new and sealed from £20

The beauty of the SH2 discs is they work perfectly subscription free and are simplicity itself to set up.

Re: Wi-Fi extension

Is your existing extender disc a BT Wholehome white disc, or a black one that integrates with the hub's WiFi?

Re: Wi-Fi extension

Hi. A black one which came with the hub2. It extends the signal well, but I need to get close to a patch lead in the lounge to plug my pc into it. It’s too far for a single disc extension. The walls are very thick.

I ordered a second hand one from eBay this evening. I couldn’t see any way to request or buy one from but.

Buying one is probably the best move.

Re: Wi-Fi extension

With the black discs, my understanding is that you pay for the service and up to ~3 discs for the same price, you just need to request them. I remember I did this (a few years ago) in the MyBT App on my mobile in the Help chat.
