Wi fi extension
I want to extend my wifi from the main house router by Ethernet cable to my summer house 15 metres away. What kind of extender kit will I require in the summer house.

Re: Wi fi extension
If you are running an Ethernet cable to your summer house you just need to use a Wireless Access Point in the summer house. This will be connected to your Ethernet cable and it will then transmit a wireless signal.

Re: Wi fi extension
Thank you. Can you recommend a particular piece of kit for this purpose. Does BT have this?

Re: Wi fi extension
I would look at TP -Link WAPs (wireless access points) They are good and reliable at a good price.
I am not sure if BT do them but if they do they will no doubt be over priced as per the other items they sell.
