WiFi with TV problems

Go to solution

Since receiving a new router, my TV has to be reconnected to it every time it’s switched on. I have entered the WiFi password on the TV settings many times, and I now connect via WPS every time I switch the TV on.

Can anyone provide an answer please?
I have removed the previous router’s settings from the TV, entered IP manually, checked for TV (Samsung) updates and have no idea what to try next.

TYIA.

Re: WiFi with TV problems

there is no SH3 for residential customers just the old SH2 and you cannot split the the 2.4/5ghz networks as suggested by @shakey1981

have you done a factory reset of the hub?  you could then disable the 5ghz network on the hub and see if the TV will connect to the 2.4ghz wifi.  once connected try turning TV off and then back on and see if it now connects automatically to the SH2.  if it does then re-enable the 5ghz network in the Sh2
