My mate has Full Fibre 900 but isn’t getting the benefit of these speeds throughout his house.

He is going to buy the above…Will it be a case of plugging into the ONT with the first AX3000 to use as the main router before setting up the second to place in their bedroom.

These both have Ethernet connection, so will be using wired for the most used devices, ie Nvidia Shield, Formuler Z11 pro max and his Homatics 4k R Box.

He has a broadband only package. 

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated

The online spec doesn't say whether the WAN supports PPPoE, but assuming it does, then yes, you can just connect it directly to the ONT using the generic credentials of username bthomehub@btbroadband.com and password BT.
