iPhone11 connecting to wifi - but "no service"

Go to solution

Morning all,

Against my better judgement, my son got an iPhone. I know nothing about iPhones - rest of us are all android.

I had told him that if he got another detention at school, I would disconnect him from the house wifi using the MYBT app and remove his EE mobile data for a day.

He did. I did.

A day later, and I've given him his data back and reinstated wifi access and his phone will connect to wifi and see mobile signal but he keeps getting "No Service".

I have done a factory reset of our smart hub, he has reset his phone's network settings

Logging in to my hub I can see his phone. he is connected to the hub but no service still.

All suggestions gratefully received.

Tom

No service relates to the mobile network, not WiFi.

Thank you. But he can't connect to the internet using our wifi despite being able to connect to the hub.
I'll have a look at the link.

Has airplane mode been activated in error. Try toggling it off and on then restart the phone.

All sorted now.

Thank you all for your responses.

He simply needed to reset his network settings on his iPhone. 6 hours later, it started working!
