poor video streaming

Hello I am by no means a tech savvy person so bear with me on this one . Since having our BT broadband installed last month my desktop and laptop computer are  unable to stream YouTube or any media type video the picture is frozen / jitters and only hear sound , whereas my 2 phones and iPad have no issues ? . The desk top keeps dropping out of the network and tells me "network changes detected " then reloads over and over . I have cleared the cash ? removed any old wifi details and have done a speed check which is up to BT standards , I must add all computers are wifi connected . im reluctant to start messing with any other settings and really don't feel this should be required 

maybe someone can help me out ?
