what happens when I request a technician visit?

I've been dealing with serious health issues recently that as meant I'm bedbound and had to move downstairs. 

My Dad isn't technically minded to setup either a wifi system or network solution. 

In my fibre package it says I can have a technician come out to help me improve my Internet setup.

I'm just wondering what they will do and what they can't do.

I don't think I'm using my halo package fully so I hope they could help with that.

Thank you for any help and information anyone can give.

The technician should be able to help you set up your home network so that you get a good wifi signal in your house.
