Hi,
Is there a BT sport subscription available without signing up for BT TV, so ideally just the app which I can then use Chromecast to watch on my TV?
Currently have BT broadband, the VIP TV package & mobile but looking to reduce the cost by cancelling the TV package & just having access to the BT sport app.
Have tried to find the answer on line but it's all a bit confusing.
Thanks

There is but the price is the same, so BTTV is better value but choose what suits your own needs.
Ah I see thanks for explaining!
Would be tempted by the app if the contract period was shorter.

The BT Sport app and monthly sports pass are exactly the same thing, the app is cheaper as it's for BT broadband customers and includes a longer commitment, the monthly sports pass is 30 day rolling, activate it when you want, de-activate when you don't.
I used to subscribe to the BT Sport app only as a BT broadband customer from the day it launched on 1st August 2013 until we upgraded to BTTV last April. There is another difference between the monthly pass and the £18 option for BT broadband customers. With the monthly pass you get BT Sport Ultimate included but with the £18 option you need to pay extra to get BT Sport Ultimate. It was an extra £5 when we had it and the web site states that it is still that price currently.
