Re: BT sport app question

Thankyou.

So I can't just have it on the app right.

It's bundled with the TV box access?

BT Sport app separately is actually £16 per month, but would obviously come without the ability to record.

The app is £16 but as a BT TV customer having TV and standalone app isn't an option, the difference is only £1 per month though, as a TV addon it's a rolling 30 day term, the standalone app is 24 month minimum, it's worth the extra £1 to have the ability to cease it when not required and you can still watch on your TV box.

As a BT TV customer you can't have both though, see my reply for details.

I used to have the standalone BT Sport app and paid £15 for it up until April. However, we then  got BTTV with the £6 Entertainment deal and have BT Sport as an add- on for £15 ( legacy price from when we took it). I think it’s much better with BTTV and certainly don’t regret it.

@Brucemeister5  yes but what I mean is @Anonymous  can't have both BT TV and the standalone app.

@-Richie-  I appreciate that. I was just explaining that I used to have app only, but think that tv access is better as you then are then able to have the best of both worlds for just £1 more.

Final question please (you've all been most helpful).

Does the BT pro box still record without a subscription?

I would only require the Freeview channels to be recordable.

This would be the last question in order to assess my options.

Thanking you all.

Yes, as long as you're using the box with an aerial connected. Internet mode won't work without a subscription.
