Hello. Sorry if this has been asked before but I can’t find anything. I have a BT TV Box and an LG Oled C1. When I play a football game through the box that’s on BT Sport Ultimate, my LG Oled doesn’t recognise it as an UHD source and switch the picture mode. If I play the same game from the BT Sport app rather than through their box, it recognises it as UHD and switches picture mode. Any suggestions please? Thank you.

Does watching anything (such as Netflix UHD content), via the BT box switch the TV to “UHD mode”? If not it is either a box setting or you haven’t switched on ‘Deep Colour’ on that TV input.
How are you watching via the BT Sport app as it isn’t available on LG directly?
Yes if i use the native Netflix app for example it will switch to Dolby vision picture mode. I use a firestick to access the BT Sport app. Just checked and Deep Colour is on too but still no uhd picture mode. @Anonymous
By using the native Netflix app, I'm assuming you mean the one on the TV??? If this is the case, can you try the one on the Youview box...
But what about if you used the Netflix app on the BT Pro box, does that display any content in 4K or 4K HDR?
If Netflix via the box triggers a change, then you know the box and hdmi cable are OK, so the problem is with the channel only.
If it doesn’t then you need to check the box is set to output in 4K.
Yes. Just tried Netflix and on the BT box and it switches to HDR so the problem is only with BT Sport Ultimate channel. No idea how to fix this 🤔 @Anonymous @NigelB72
Can you confirm you are watching on channel 465?
That worked thank you! I was on channel 433 which is also Bt sport ultimate
Should have started with the simple solution first! 🤣
Enjoy!
