Bt sport spoiler free on tv app

Hi, maybe I’m a bit dumb, but I cannot find a spoiler free area on the bt sport  TV app. It’s there on the iPad, but not tv.

Really don’t want another season of “bagnia storms to victory……” freeing up my evening:)

this would improve my life no end - thankyou

Sorry @Troycyclone but there isn't a spoiler free option on any of the non-mobile BT Sport apps, and there won't ever be one.

It's possible that TNT may offer the option when BT Sport becomes TNT, and they launch their new apps this summer.

Hopefully TNT will adopt the Eurosport approach in their app design and usage and banish all spoilers from their sports screens.

The large majority of BT Sport app usage is for watching live sport, so that's where most of the development was focused.
When the dev team were disbanded in January, there was still a long list of things we wanted to do to improve the app - spoiler-free was quite low down that list.
Fewer than 3% of users used the spoiler free option in the mobile app, despite it having been available for almost 2 years.

As for why spoilers are in there in the first place - that's an editorial decision for which we have no stats to prove one way or the other whether they made the right choice.

We wish TNT the best of luck in trying to make the right choices in their new app - it's impossible to please everyone.

I am surprised by that 3% figure. Personally 99% of my app usage is through the spoiler-free page.  Perhaps the result would be different if the spoiler-free page was the default landing page when the app is installed rather than users having to fiddle with the options to achieve that?

Agreed, odd working patterns clear weekends for all aren’t what they used to be.

It would make sense, why would anyone want to know the result up front?

To be fair that is how I have been following the European quali games over the weekend but then other than the England games I have watched (as) live I have just been Youtubing the short highlights of all the other games.

But as ever has been the critical point, give the viewer the choice.  It is easy for a viewer to find the results if they want but impossible to un-spoiler a game once the result is pushed in their face.

@Troycyclone BT Sport management couldn't give two **bleep**s about the true fans, they are more concerned with click bait. It's been an issue for years as you likely know, they tried to make a token gesture with spoiler mode. but thats all it was it wasn't rolled out to all platforms ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

@DarrenDev  are you still leading this team? whats going on mate? are you teasing us with the TNT comments?

At the very least can we get the first item on the left and the hero item to be the full race replay and highlights? at least then we don't have to scroll our eyes to the right to try and find them. 

Can we also have FULL in the title even when its truncated, this will at least be a pattern to match for in your head, you often have to click through 2-3 items to find the full replay?

These things really are spoiling the whole race experience :(.
