Chelsea v Servette

I am expecting to see Chelsea game in EETV schedules for next Thursday  - it is not there yet

"Enzo Maresca’s side will now play their first European game of the season against Servette at Stamford Bridge on Thursday, August 22, live on TNT Sports and discovery+."

Re: Chelsea v Servette

The announcement  of  the first leg coverage  by TNT Sports  and discovery+ was made a few days ago by TNT Sports

Eg

https://www.tntsports.co.uk/football/uefa-europa-conference-league/2024-2025/chelsea-conference-leag...

Just doesn't  seem to have made it in to the schedules yet.

Re: Chelsea v Servette

@gomezz  I suspect that the  TNT Sports channel(s)  numbers that will carry the match simply have not been published /revealed. So the TBC element is the channel number.

Re: Chelsea v Servette

TNT1&2 look well spoken for already. TNT3&4 got filler that will easily not be missed. Perhaps there is an internal argument about bumping MLB or Max 60 cricket down the EPG a bit?  For a UK audience surely a no-brainer to put the footy on TNT1?

Re: Chelsea v Servette

The (london) Evening Standard today previews the game and mentions TNT sports and discovery+ coverage

https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/chelsea-vs-servette-prediction-kick-off-time-tv-live-strea...

But as far as i can see neitherthe EE TV EpG or discovery+ own upcoming schedule shows Thursday game. Also the TNT Sports presenters at the start of tonights coverage listed the upcoming games over the next week but didn't mention the Chelsea game  .  So really what is going on ?

Re: Chelsea v Servette

It's going to be shown on a PPV basis by Chelsea themselves (£4.99). Unlike the Champions League playoffs which are bundled with the main rights. For the Conference League playoffs like the earlier CL rounds the rights sit with the clubs.  So I'm guessing no one was willing to stump the cash to make it worth Chelsea's while.

Re: Chelsea v Servette

Well that is very disappointing.

Why did TNT sports publish what now appears to be an incorrect  article on 16Th August on their website.

Also it appears that other news sites such as the Evening Standard  were  given inaccurate  information.
