Discovery plus app - attrocious audio on the snooker

This has been an ongoing issue for a long time, the audio on the snooker is horrific, air con noise, random high pitched screeching, audio breakups 

I've been witnessing this for literally years 

Why? 

I'm paying a premium for the snooker and I expect better, much much better 

This kind of quality shouldn't be allowed on broadcast 

There's children providing better quality streams via YouTube or Twitch and before some pretentious person makes any comments, I know this because my own children watch them 

Please sort the quality out because it's quite frankly terrible and listening to that will cause tinnitus! That's not a claim that's a fact

Is this on the main table snooker stream  (normally broadcast on TNT Sports linear channels as well as discovery+ or on the other tables that typically are shown only on discovery+ streams (and may often still have Eurosport logos)  ?

If the content for the linear channels is of poor quality then it would be reasonable to expect EETV to challenge their suppliers , If it is the extra streams only available on discovery+ then you probably need to take it up with them initially, obviously if they don't respond then it would be valid to complain to EE/BT as it is them that is billing you for the service.

The snooker is almost unwatchable due to the poor audio quality. First noticed this when watching the tournament in Saudi and then again on the Shanghai Masters. The noise is worse in between shots and when the commentators are silent and it tends to build up until a shot is taken. Really weird. I have only noticed this on the Discovery Plus app but it may also be apparent on the linear channel. I just can't say for sure but will test during the next tournament.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was just the app as it really does leave a lot to be desired to be fair. As for their customer help well don't waste your time.

Its better on the linear channel

On the app its atrocious and is not broadcast quality, why should we be paying for this garbage ? 
I pay a premium for snooker and the Rally and expect excellent service 

I’m not getting value for money that’s for sure so ensuring the broadcast quality is good is essential 

How do I report? Who do I contact ? 
This is down to lazy sound engineers and even lazier producers

Checked in on the snooker today using the app and have to say it is much improved. Still a bit noisey here and there but not as bad as it was on the two previous tournaments I mentioned.
