Still no updates that I can see on this but TV5 Monde will be showing Saint-Étienne v Le Harve on Saturday night which is better than nothing (plus there's a highlights show late on Sunday).
Ligue1pass is launching this weekend. Starting tonight all matches are free this week and it will be £9.99 pm after that.
@tweetSP0RT I thought TNT was only showing a 'select' number of games now? They're not big on exclusivity, it seems. If you want the full complement of Serie A this season head to OneFootball.
@zulu17 I did not know this. Infront handles global rights for Serie A as well. They are a huge player in brokering media rights deals and this could actually be good for LfP and Ligue1 in terms of offering better assurances of revenue from broadcasters to the respective clubs, corporate sponsorship and retaining and potentially expanding Ligue1's audience reach. Since MediaPro (another huge player) defaulted on its agreement with LfP Media, broadcasters' valuations of Ligue1 vs those of LfP have differed hugely. What might have seemed realistic before is now regarded as vastly overvalued given previous deals with the likes of Amazon following the collapsed deal with MediaPro. Maybe the expertise of InFront Media can help level the score and put Ligue1 on a more even footing where the overall valuation of Ligue1 as part of the so-called 'top 5' European leagues is concerned.
