MOTOGP New format utter shambles

What a let down this morning was, turned on Moto gp on bt sport 2 to watch free practice and qualifying and got a load of build up and talking waffle in the paddock while free practice was on I understand it was on bt sport 5 but the world feed commentary is dismal we pay good money to watch MotoGP on bt and have always enjoyed watching Friday Saturday Sunday listening to Gavin hodgey, M Lav guintoli and suzi , we pay our subscription to see a premium product not a load of interviews while the track action is on really disappointed both BT honestly since MotoGP has been on BT I think they’ve done a superb job with the coverage but what I’ve seen today is really disappointing and if it’s not resolved I think I’ll be cancelling bt sport and just sign up for Moto gp video pass

p.s BT DONT FIX WHAT ISNT BROKEN!!!

Re: MOTOGP New format utter shambles

One plus point is that the action today was made available on catch up in very short order which was a boon as I accidently deleted my sprint race recording.

Actually, I disagree on all of your points. The free practise was available to watch if that is what you wanted and the World Feed commentary is not that bad.

Just in case anyone is not paying full attention to what and when the coverage is on, the Chequered Flag tomorrow has morphed from an extended post-race review programme to an evening highlights programme. We will see how that works out.

One unintended consequence of the new sprint race is that we can expect to see penalties, injuries and bike damage issues being carried forward into the main race which is one aspect I think detracts from the new format.

Re: MOTOGP New format utter shambles

One thing th:at has not changed is the apparent inability of BT to have EPG entries start and end on anything by the quarter hour. Was concerned when I didn't see today's morning warm-up coverage start recording at 9:30am as shown on the EPG only to see it actually start recording at 9:40am which coincided with the actual start of coverage.
