No idea who BT technical support claim to have spoken to, but it wasn't us - everyone in the dev team knows about the Chromecast issues, as they're discussed on our daily calls.
No idea where Plusnet support have plucked 5th Nov from, but nothing will be happening on that date to fix the issues.
I'm happy that they've at least made you feel a bit better with the goodwill refund though.
