Swapping Sport Package

I have a Flexible Package with BT Sport and want to swap to Big Sport for one month but when I log in to switch it states that doing this will enter me into a new 24 month contract. I believed that you could switch packages within your existing contract as many times as you liked without entering into a new contract, I did this last year without having to do so. Can anyone please confirm this? Many thanks.
