I currently get Discovery+ free from BT. I've never purcahsed a PPV uding the app.

If I but this weekend's WWE event - does that become available on all my devices using my account or only the purchasing devices?

Thanks - so I read it that if I buy on my desk Firestick - it will also work on the bedroom Firestick.

Usually watch on VirginMedia - but TNT Sport is due to leave VirginMedia this week.

Yes, that's my understanding too - if you buy in the app, it should be in the app on any supported device.
