Re: TNT loses Champions League Football

Food for thought for anyone tempted by the latest £2 for six months on 24 months contract offer.

In 18 months all European football will have vanished from your TNT subscription

Re: TNT loses Champions League Football

It obviously depends on which sport you’re interested in, but for me there is no way it will be worth the £31 list price. Even my EE mobile add on for £20 will be too expensive for one match a week. I’ll just live without it.

Thats said, who knows what Paramount will charge. Time will tell.

Re: TNT loses Champions League Football

Yeah getting ludicrous now.

To watch your premier league team on tv you would have to subscribe to

Sky sports...prem matches

TNT...Saturday lunchtime matches and FA cup

Paramount...European matches

Amazon...Tuesday night first pick UCL

And after all that if your team like mine (Liverpool) are kicking off at 3pm you're scuppered. As after splashing out for the above you still can't watch it.

No wonder the vast majority have access to suspect streaming.

There may be no change if paramount succeed in buying out Warner brothers who own TNT sports

Re: TNT loses Champions League Football

Netflix Sky (comcast) and paramount are all interested.

It's extremely likely all three would abandon Discovery and TNT and absorb the content.

Re: TNT loses Champions League Football

A lot of things potentially may or will change over the next two years.

Paramount are apparently according to various media outlets one of the companies bidding for WBD so who knows.

It does seem that the UEFA Europa and UEFA Conference League will be on Sky/Now from 2027-28.

EETV perhaps need to consider how they present their TV packages options  to give customers more flexibility in choosing a pack that suits them.

Even more reason not to be seduced by the current EE/TNT offers

Re: TNT loses Champions League Football

@BSF74  Although TNT Sports channels are owned and operated  by WBD I believe the rights (UK) are with the Joint Venture that is currently under WBD/BT shared ownership,
