Why does the video players always fail on UFC events?

Every UFC event I've tried to watch for the past couple of months has failed to play back. 288 failed midway through the main event and I still can't get it to play back on any application. I've tried the TV, my mac and my iphone but it either freezes and starts at the beginning or states that this video isn't available in my area. Does anybody know what's going on? It's the only reason I pay for BT sport so if this never works it's pointless having it.
