I'm struggling to get on with the Freeview picture quality offered by the BT TV Pro Box - am pretty sure the box is outputting in the wrong colour space; facial tones are often smudgy and the red of BBC News' logo and chyrons is positively orange, with the colour bleeding at the edges. The box should be recognising the content and outputting the appropriate signal. I compare it to the picture from a Humax T2000, which offers a gorgeous and high quality picture.
Also, the Now TV app loses trick play functioning - say I rewind a show by a minute - I then get the buffering circle in the middle of the screen, which does not go away, and I am also unable to pause, rewind or fast forward. Playback may completely crash as a result.
How have you connected the box?
Which box is it? The pro box?
What picture settings are set within the box? (I assume 1080p)
Mine seems okay.
Could also try another hdmi cable?
@MooJuice the fast forward problem with the NOW app has previously been raised on this thread: https://community.bt.com/t5/YouView-from-BT/NOW-TV-Fast-forward/m-p/2213243#M65032
It's worth you replying to that thread to give the issue a bump.
