There is currently an advertised BT Entertainment discount, and it'd appear BT is doing everything to prevent me from getting it. First, the customer service person said "This is not for existing customers". Except it doesn't say that anywhere on the website. Next, there is an issue (something internal, which has nothing to do with me) open on the account preventing anyone from adding anything to my package. But the advertised deal expires in days, and there is no guarantee that once the issue on my account is sorted, they'll give me said deal given that I am requesting it now, when it is still available, and there is nothing I can do about their internal issues which they left open on my account for months.
This is very disappointing, not to mention cynical and frustrating.
Does anyone know of a situation where they backdated a deal?

It's most likely a DI (Data Integrity) issue from a previous cancelled/failed order, ring 0800 800 150 and speak with the 'Connections' team, if they can't resolve it over the phone, they'll raise a case for it to be fixed.
