F1 Channel Only

Hi,

Is there a package to just subscribe to the F1 Channel; I don't want to pay £35pm for a whole package just for one sport. I am not interested in anything else just F1.

Not currently available legally in the U.K. due to the Sky Sports deal.

If you lived in the US, you could subscribe to F1 TV Pro for $40 a year and watch all the races, qualifying etc. live and on demand via their app on a device like an Apple TV.

The “international commentary” option is the U.K. Sky Sports team.

I think only Sky themselves offer a F1 channel alone option.

The Sky sports that EE TV has are NOW bundles so if NOW doesn’t offer that option it won’t be available.

AFAIK Sky only sell packages for all Sky Sports channels together as a bundle, be that on Satellite, Sky Streaming devices or Now TV. There is no way of subscribing to just the F1 channel on any platform.

It has been pointed out to Sky many times that a large number of F1 fans are not interested in any other sports, but the F1 deal is meant as a way to drive their revenue, something that will be diminished if fans are able to pay less just for one channel.

There are cheaper official ways to buy Now TV sports subscriptions if you use different streaming devices.

Sky did sell the F1 channel as a standalone for a while,  but you still had to have a base package first.

They have added the extra streams to the NOW app this year which is a bonus, but there is no legal option to have just F1 live races in the UK without taking the full Sky Sports package.

The most flexible option is to get a deal on Sky Sports via NOW directly, otherwise it is Channel 4 highlights and the F1 YouTube channel.

You would want NOW Boost for the 50fps 1080p which is typically £6 per month after a free trial, but just cancel and your target offer is £3 per month max.

£24 per month contract free is about as good as it gets, but if you need to record, a more expensive package like BT/EE TV is your only option.

There is a F1 only channel option but it available only to Sky subscribers with a SkyQ box - not even all subscribers.
