Stutter on all streaming channels

Apologies for a repeat a question. There seems to loads of posts regarding this but nothing to solve the issue.

We recently signed up to BT and got the VIP package. At the start we had no issues but for the last 2 or 3 weeks all our streaming channels have been stuttering. Especially on the HD channels. It's becoming such a pain and everything is unwatchable unless we use the nowtv app.

We have a Deco mesh setup for WiFi.

Any help on how to resolve? We can't use ethernet as the router is in the hallway.

You need to make sure that your wifi setup supports Multicast transmissions properly over wifi as that's what BT TV require.

Now TV doesn't which would be why that works OK.

There is definitely a difference since changing the settings however it still happens but less frequently. Anything else you think that may help?

We can't plug in the router to the TV via ethernet as we don't have a ethernet socket behind the TV.
