TNT Sport 4 Epg wrong.

TNT Sport 4 epg says Liverpool v Newcastle actually showing is Live Skiing. Now showing Liverpool v Newcastle must have been an overrun of skiing

Re: TNT Sport 4 Epg wrong.

@Bluemoon1  what seems wrong is that having moved Eurosport  content to TNT Sports channels it seems that TNT/EETV are not correcting the EPG for overrunning  events.  The Eurosport  channels were poor at revising schedules. TNT   have the capability to do so by adjusting  the EPG . Let's see how they perform. Day 1 indicates they could do better.

Re: TNT Sport 4 Epg wrong.

Hi @Bluemoon1 Thanks for making us aware of this: Did it say that it was a reply of Wednesdays match between Liverpool and Newcastle United?

Re: TNT Sport 4 Epg wrong.

@Chris__S  It was a replay of Wednesdays game. Not sure it actually said it was a replay. But at 5 pm. the skiing was still on..

Re: TNT Sport 4 Epg wrong.

Thanks for confirming that @Bluemoon1.

I've had a check and if you scroll back to this listing and select Liverpool vs Newcastle, it will show this match via catch-up.

I'll still go ahead and get this flagged with the relevant team so they're aware of the issues, though 😊

Re: TNT Sport 4 Epg wrong.

Whilst the EETV EPG for 28 Feb for TNT Sport 4 has indeed been corrected. This was done retrospectively ie at a later date.

Ironically the ski race completed virtually on time but there was a protest that went to the jury  and TNT continued to await the jury decision and race presentations which resulted in what appears to be  significant overrun.

So we really need EETV to ensure that TNT /Youview EPG programme schedule change process is functioning efficiently as here it occurred far too late.

Re: TNT Sport 4 Epg wrong.

@garybs29  I suspect that simulcasting UFC  main card  on two channels was a  commercial decision designed to maximise viewers of the event. Given that the Prelimiinary  ufc was on Sport 3  before the main event  you retain the viewers who were watching the undercard and not require them to change channel. Sport 1 had Live Boxing prior to the UFC main card  so you attempt to persuade those viewers to remain watching that channel rather than switch off or go channel surfing. Similar approach that WBD have done (when they have the matches) by placing Premiership Rugby on same channel immediately after Premier League football on Saturday afternoons
