TNT Sports
When I signed up for TNT Sports I was going from the adverts and information on their website. This said that they were the home for MLB for 2025. This is literally the only reason I took out the subscription.
I'm now seeing that they don't have the rights to the MLB at all. Does anyone know what recourse I have for this false advertising?I have no interest in the other sports provided.

Re: TNT Sports
Hi @BangBang
How are you subscribed and to whom do you pay your subscription ?
ie is it part of an EETV package , a direct app subscription with discovery+ or via some other party ?

Re: TNT Sports
I have EE sports package so I get all the Discovery stuff which also doesn't interest me! It was on offer so I thought I'd take a chance to watch some baseball which I love.
Thanks for replying.

Re: TNT Sports
@BangBang There is actually coverage of the two MLB Tokyo Series games between the Dodgers and Cubs on Tuesday 18th March and Wednesday 19th March on Tnt Sports (1/3) and discovery+.
You may have grounds to discuss terminating any contract if you can demonstrate that you are materially disadvantaged by withdrawal of the content that you were reasonably expecting to be included in your subscription. You would need to raise that issue/complaint with the company that you ordered from.

Re: TNT Sports
I'll give your suggestion a go but I don't hold out much hope. They tend to have an unpleasant way of squirming out of these things. Cheers again.

Re: TNT Sports
@BangBang Looking at discovery + they are now listing MLB regular season games on 27/28 March. Yankees v Brewers , Dodgers v Tigers , Rays v Rockies ..

Re: TNT Sports
"They had a tweet that said they didn’t have the 2025 rights. The guy on the phone agreed as did his manager. What a shocking service! They don’t have a clue what they’re doing."
Who are you saying "don’t have a clue what they’re doing"?
Bear in mind that TNT Sports is now a separate company to BT/EE. If you were talking to a BT/EE call centre, then they probably only know what is in the public domain about this.

Re: TNT Sports
So why am I talking to them then? That's the number given to ask about any problems with the service so I should write rightly expect them to know about said service. That's a ridiculous and laughable excuse.
