Accessing set up on SH2 and EE Hub

I routinely access my BT SH2's setup manager by typing 192.168.1.254 into a browser on a computer connected by ethernet to the SH2.

I'm advising someone with an EE hub on setup but nowhere, in either the printed instructions or the pull out label on the hub, is a similar address shown

Does anyone know whether the EE hub setup manager can be accessed using the same 192.168.1.254?

I've noticed a tendency for sometime now that various ISPs are moving towards accessing the setup via an app on a mobile phone.  I believe the browser access is still available in most cases though.  Not sure what EE are doing.  (I hope that doesn't become the norm.  I hate apps on phones).

I'd post on the EE forum and address it to JimM11.  He seems to know his stuff.
