@moomoomoomoo

Do you mean clean it of internal dust etc, or clear out unwanted cookies and temporary files?

If you mean clear up any temporary files and get it running better, then Microsoft's PC Manager does a lot of that for you.

Re: How do I 'clean' my computer

I can't get rid of something that keeps coming on my screen telling me I have a virus and I must delete it. It says it comes from McAfee but it doesn't.  My computer expert says he can 'clean' my computer for £72 to get rid of it but I was hoping to do it myself.  Any helpful hints?

Try downloading malwarebytes and you can get free version or a free trial of main version and run that and see if it finds and deletes problem

I've tried downloading the Malwarebytes but this hasn't got rid of the problem. Any more ideas?

Download and run ADWCleaner and if that doesn't work get somebody who knows what they are doing fix your computer.
