Openreach are responsible for all wiring up to and including the NTE. Anything beyond that is yours, extension sockets basically.
I understand the 'stay fast guarantee' would help me if the service turned out to not be fit according to that - does provision of the guarantee come after I've already subscribed to the service, or can it be provided before?
Effectively, do I need to gamble and take the service out before I know if it'll be good enough (or at least guaranteed to be)? If the guarantee came in at 20 Mbps say, I'd have to walk away at that point, whereas if it came in at 60 Mbps I'd have something to work with.
Hi @Lugsto and thanks for posting.
I'm sorry to be late to the party here. If you haven't already placed your order you can check what connection speeds you should expect using your address at address checker . If you're happy with that estimate then once you place your order you'll be covered by the stay fast guarantee.
Cheers
David
