Devious question for the regulars…Does the one touch switching system work within the same ISP? For example, if I wanted to switch from one package to another within BT would the online one touch system work?
No , that’s not the purpose of OTS , changing your ‘package’ isn’t switching so the system of messaging between providers , which is basically what OTS is , isn’t necessary regrading is entirely ‘in house’ , although potentially if switching to FTTP from FTTC they ‘may’ possibly message Openreach via OTS as that needs Openreach involvement , but I doubt it .

That's a shame as I hate dealing with these people over the phone. Might be easier to switch to another provider when I switch to FTTP then. I wonder if anyone has stopped to to think that making it so awkward to change a package within a provider maybe costing them customers altogether?
What are you talking about? Switching from one service to another with the same provider is even easier, just an upgrade with no credit check etc
Have you ever tried talking to these wazzocks on the phone and trying to get them to sell you a considerably cheaper package without Halo? I had teeth removed that have been less painful.
use the retentions team and moving from FTTC to FTTP is easy just make sure you know what BT offers are currently and what other ISPs offer 08007831401
